Job ScopeThe Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various construction settings. This position requires adherence to safety regulations and industry standards while ensuring that all electrical installations are completed efficiently and effectively.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Ensure that all installations comply with local electrical codes and safety regulations.Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.Provide guidance and training to junior electricians or apprentices as needed.Participate in safety meetings and adhere strictly to safety protocols on-site.Skills, Knowledge and Experience RequiredProven experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings.Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.Familiarity with relevant tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, wire strippers, etc.Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.Commitment to following safety guidelines at all times.In ReturnDoveworth Limited offers competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
