The Deputy Finance Director will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director in overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. This position will involve working closely with various departments to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and create strategies to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. The Deputy Finance Director will also be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required, with a CPA or CFA certification preferred.ResponsibilitiesProvides strategic financial leadership and collaborates with the Finance Director to develop and implement financial goals and objectives.Oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Manages financial risk by analyzing and interpreting financial data, and recommending strategies to mitigate risks.Leads and supervises a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.Evaluates and improves financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.Represents the finance department in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting financial information and analysis.Assists in financial planning and decision-making by conducting financial analysis and providing insights to inform strategic initiatives.Ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards, staying up-to-date on changes in regulations that may impact the organization.Collaborates with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall financial performance.Participates in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the organization’s long-term financial sustainability and growth.
Requirements
