The Animal Groomer is responsible for providing grooming services to pets. They are responsible for bathing, trimming, and styling pets’ fur, as well as maintaining their overall hygiene and appearance. Additionally, they will handle administrative tasks, schedule appointments, and ensure a safe and clean grooming environment.ResponsibilitiesBathe, brush, and groom pets to maintain their appearance and overall hygiene.Trim and style pets’ fur according to breed or owner preferences.Clean pets’ ears and trim nails as necessary.Assess pets’ skin and coat condition and identify any health concerns.Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.Schedule and manage grooming appointments.Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment.Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping, invoicing, and inventory management.Stay updated on grooming techniques and pet care industry trends.Handle any emergencies or special needs pets with care.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Proven experience in animal grooming.Knowledge of different breeds and grooming techniques.Excellent animal handling skills.Attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
