When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.

Role Summary
The creative manager is a super-experienced designer and art director. Being a close creative partner to the Creative Director, he/she will be a core part of the development and design of the talabat brand.
What Did We Order?
- Works closely in collaboration with the Creative Director and broader brand team.
- Produces art layouts by developing high-level brand and design concepts.
- Manages, directs art and design. Reviews and gives feedback – drives the creative vision through copy and design. Ensures designers have the knowledge and tools they need.
- Trains, assigns, schedules, and coaches designers.
- Meets brand creative department’s work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and stakeholder service standards.
- Proactively resolves operational challenges and identifies work process improvements.
- Meets brand creative department’s cost standards by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving actions.
- Formulates art concepts by overseeing designers engaged in executing layout designs for artwork and copy.
- Reviewing illustrative material for presentation, feedback and ensuring quality of work is at brand standards.
- Reviews project production factors by understanding background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and design techniques.
- Selects and secures art material by formulating basic layout design concepts and conducting the required research.
- Produces layouts for printing by marking-up, pasting-up, and finishing layouts.
- Obtains client approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; and responds to client commentary and requests.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances brand creative department’s and talabat’s reputation by taking ownership and driving quality creative work (copy and design).

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in art, fine arts or design
- 5 years + of experience as an art director or creative director
- 3 years within an agency or tech environment preferred
