At SISD we follow the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme from Pre-Kindergarten (PreKG) to Grade 12 and the Swiss Baccalaureate programme from Grade 6 onwards. We are looking for an outstanding, passionate and caring Boarding House Academic Tutor (Business & Economics) for August 2023.

Our team of international boarding and teaching staff is made up of highly qualified professionals who all share one goal: to provide quality education to all of our children in a caring, nurturing and supportive environment.

The role of Boarding House Academic Tutor (Business & Economics) is to ensure that boarding students are supported academically and assist with the pastoral care of the students who are resident in the boarding houses. The Boarding House Academic Tutor (Business & Economics) is required to make a major contribution to the academic development of students, with a specific focus on Business and Economics. This will involve working closely with the Head of Boarding and Boarding Team to ensure that the students settle into boarding life and ensuring there are enrichment opportunities.

As part of our commitment to our academic staff’s personal and professional development, comprehensive professional development will be provided to the successful candidate, who will:

• be fully qualified Business and Economics Teacher with a Degree in Business or Economics and holding a professional teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching diploma or certification
