This position is essential for ensuring that Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) achieves its operational goals through effective vendor management.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Supplier Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier management strategy that ensures quality, timely delivery, and favorable commercial terms, thereby streamlining the supplier base and enhancing supply chain efficiency.Vendor Relationship Oversight: Manage all aspects of vendor relationships with key suppliers and partners, focusing on negotiation, relationship building, and maximizing value for EGA.Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess vendor performance and provide constructive feedback to the Head of Contract and Licensing Management, ensuring alignment with EGA’s standards and objectives.Dispute Resolution: Oversee the resolution of any disputes with suppliers and implement effective vendor management practices to ensure seamless operations.Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to establish sustainable and mutually beneficial agreements with key suppliers, ensuring procurement contracts deliver optimal value.Vendor Database Management: Maintain an organized and updated database of vendors and related information to support business unit needs and facilitate effective budgeting.Business Goal Alignment: Identify and set business objectives that require vendor involvement, ensuring strategic selection and contracting of vendors to meet organizational needs.Contract Framework Development: Collaborate with the Legal department to create a robust contract framework and templates tailored to specific requirements.Contract Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to specified requirements throughout the contract development process, including the adjustment of terms and conditions as necessary.Documentation Review: Scrutinize critical contract documentation to ensure clarity regarding scope, deliverables, and timelines, aligning contract terms with business needs.Expert Guidance: Address escalated issues and provide expert-level advice on vendor management, responding to all contract-related inquiries from stakeholders.Invoice Verification: Conduct thorough reviews of invoices to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, facilitating timely payment processes.
