Position Overview

Starling Services are urgently looking for Chef in the market who is interested in working with us for a long-term contract job opportunity

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Chef to work on an Ad-hoc basis on mornings, evenings, and weekends for a client of ours based in Dubai

Must have experience within a previous Chef role, the role will be supporting another Chef and Kitchen Staff.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
• Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Give prepared plates the “final touch”
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Recipes, Documentation, and Preparation.
• Portion serving /Packing.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Chef
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Capable of delegating multiple tasks
• Communication and leadership skills. Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

Experience:

The minimum period of relevant experience required (in years) – 4 to 5 Years.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Proven working as a Chef: 5 years (Required)
