Job description
Mechanical/Piping draftsman with more than 5+ years of hands-on experience with knowledge in variety of drafting techniques.
- Certification course in AutoCAD
- Experience in Offshore/Shipyard as a Draughtsman or Work Preparator
- Familiar in estimation of piping materials as per job identification
- Design review of piping isometrics and shop fabrication drawings as per ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and project specification matrix.
- Performing the creation of piping spools for fabrication.
- Visiting sites for taking measurements to create As Built drawings.
- Preparation of general arrangement drawings.
- Creating Fire Fighting Shop drawings.
- Followed strict safety rules and informed management of all potential safety hazards.
- Collaborated efficiently with engineers and other team members.
- Submitted drawings in time for approval from senior
- Performing the creation of piping spools and support drawings
- Provided engineering CAD, technical support, using Spoolgen, Acorn pipe software.
- Checking all the pipe classes in spool production software
- Implemented engineering changes as required.
- Preparing and reviewing project instructions and standard detailed drawings
- Carrying out miscellaneous piping/pipeline calculations such as thickness calculations etc.
- Ensured completeness and accuracy of all bills of material.
