Job Purpose

Responsible for new developments/enhancements and production support of Oracle ERP, Integration layers & Data-warehouse Systems for entire client Group.

Key Accountabilities:

• Interact with business departments to gather user requirements and understand business processes involved.
• Review/Analyze requirements documentation with Team Lead/Functional Consultants to finalize requirements, determine business case and finalize scope of work.
• Perform in-depth analysis to determine the impact on existing business processes and software applications.
• Design & develop software solutions to meet the business requirements specifications.
• Work on remote systems and services and ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop software programs using Oracle Developer Technologies (OAF/Forms/ Reports/SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL/Java) as per the program specifications and ensure compliance with organization’s policies & standard practices.
• Develop Data Model/ETL Programs for data-warehouse systems.
• Perform Unit/Integrated testing to ensure that software programs/modules meet the desired objectives and quality.
• Prepare detailed documentation covering all areas of software development cycle involving requirements, analysis & design, program development, & testing.
• Develop appropriate training programs and user guides to assist business departments in adopting new or enhanced software programs/modules.
• Maintain/update Project management plans for regular progress reviews with team lead and application manager.
• Ensure service requests are resolved on time and users are appropriately kept informed about the progress.
• Ensure skill sets are updated based on technological demands

Competence and Capabilities ·

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in any stream. Preference given to Technology related stream.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using waterfall and agile methodologies.

• ITIL certification preferred.
• Oracle certifications (OAF, Forms, Reports, SQL/PL-SQL) preferred.
• Technology expertise –

• OLTP Database structure design and development
• Data-Warehouse structure design and development
• Oracle OA Framework
• Oracle D2k (Forms/Reports V9i & later)
• SQL & PL/SQL
• T-SQL
• Oracle OAF with Java
• Sound knowledge and Experience in –

• developing custom solutions & interfaces for Oracle E-Business Suite with sound knowledge of Oracle AOL Methodology.
• developing Workflows, Alerts, APIs and good knowledge of functional areas (Financials and SCM)
• Proficient in SSIS ETL tool.
• Good team player & ability to work independently to meet project timelines.
• Perform any other related administrative duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
• Analytical mind to understand the trends and improvise on situation. ·
• Should be extremely organized and structured in office work. ·
• Excellent communication skills. English is the official language. ·
• Candidate must have work experience in Office 365 collaboration and communication cloud.
