QC Inspector – Coating
Qualification & Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-year experience in Welding and Painting Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.
- Previous experiance in shipping or Oil/Gas Client.
- Certified Painting inspection qualification (NACE L-1).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily welding inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visit.
- Prepare and schedule NDT request including PWHT.
- Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP), with respect to project Standards and Specifications.
- Supervision of QA/QC activities related to Pipelines/Piping and Hydro testing / Pneumatic Testing of erected spools.
- Carryout mechanical and QC clearance of hydro test packages.
- Preparation of final documents for the Project completion Dossier.
- Check visual inspection of coating as per project standards /specifications and Inspection test plan (ITP).
- Coordinate for final inspection of coating and holiday testing.
- Carry out inspection for factory applied coating 3-layer polyethylene coating (3LPE/2LFBE)Language skills:
- Working knowledge of English languages.
- Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
- Very good knowledge in technical terms and report writing skills
Technical competencies:
- Knowledge of coating inspection testing techniques, standards and HVAC & mechanical drawing.
- Diploma/Degree
- Should be conversant with applicable inspection, testing techniques and standards
- Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yard
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

- QC Coating Inspector: 8 years (Preferred)
