Space Builders LLC Hiring for Senior Procurement Engineer / Officer at Dubai Full Time

• Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of quotations, and incorporate technical evaluations.
• Interact with suppliers to discuss various project aspects like expenses, material quality, and lead time for project enhancement.
• Evaluate available suppliers to select the most appropriate one to purchase cost-effective materials and project supplies to meet organizational requirements.
• Handle the project costs by selecting a suitable supplier for buying materials and supplies at affordable rates.
• Design and implement all material plans and ensure compliance to all procurement policies and manager all communication for all engineering activities and assist to buy all supplies and equipment and maintain quality for the same.
• Excellent knowledge of Dubai/UAE building material market and good contacts with manufacturers, traders, machinery dealers, plant hires and subcontractors of various building trades.
• Good exposure to international and domestic procurement and familiar with port and customs procedures and documentation.
• Good exposure to all facets of Supply chain management and excellent exposure to L/C negotiations, port & customs procedure and export import documentation
• Sourcing and selection of suppliers/sub-contractors & Implementing standards and grade performance of vendors and quality management in procurement process.
• Develop market & commodity intelligence and update sourcing strategies,
• Experience in reading construction drawings & specifications and quantity calculation etc
• Responsible for all procurement activities joinery and fit out
• Sourcing of furniture, sanitary ware, ironmongeries, floor & wall finishes as per designer’s requirements
• Review purchases volume from each supplier and improve credit terms and maintain a fixed price list for major projects
• Review and approve job order issued by factory and design in accordance with Drawing Specification wastage calculation & budge
• Coordinate presentation for new items, keep up to date with local and International market innovative materials
• Global sourcing, bulk buying,etc

Skills

• Previous procurement experience.
• An experienced individual skilled in handling project activities and responsibilities related to procurement.
• Previous experience in analyzing material bills and project drawings to understand essential requirements for project completion.
• Proficient in managing activities associated with procurement for meeting the project requirements and client needs.
