Formal Education: Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering

Required Experience:

o 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in feasibility studies, options analysis, concept reporting and detail process design of oil & gas processing facilities (upstream)

o At least 5 years of detailed design experience in a project delivery environment in the oil & gas industry as Process Lead engineer (upstream)

o Familiarity with the design and/or operation of oil & gas processing plants (upstream) and process equipment commonly used in these installations.

o Experience with process equipment specifications, selection and evaluation

Job Description:

• Perform and set Process simulations basis

• Prepare Process documentation, such as Heat and Material Balances, Process Data Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams and Process Descriptions

• Prepare bid evaluation and technical recommendation of vendor

• Develop Process / Utility Flow Schemes / Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes

• Carryout Sizing of Process Equipment and Relief Valves

• Carryout Line Hydraulics and provide Inputs to Line Listing

• Provide direction and guidance on all process engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties

• Liaise with the Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion

• Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up

• Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards

• Experience of the HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Reviews Participation

• Determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation

• Familiarity with the typical software packages that are used for process engineering design and selection (Hysys, ProII, Pipesim, Flaresim etc.)

• Providing Inputs to Material Selection Report, Cause & Effect Diagrams , Alarm &Trip Setting , Instrument Data Sheets and Hazardous Area Classification Schedule

Specific Skills:

• Excellent grasp of process engineering and hydraulic design principles
