Overview:

We are seeking an Lead Process Facilities Engineer to join our Exploration & Production (E&P) project; with strong conceptual technical acumen to assist implementation of field development programs.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

· Providing complete process Engineering expertise at various stages including pre-FEED & FEED

· Delivering support for day-to-day operations for Facilities rejuvenation, turndown & optimization.

· Prior hands-on experience as Facilities Engineer with expertise with well, reservoir, facility Management

· Perform and set Process simulations basis

· Prepare Process documentation, such as Heat and Material Balances, Process Data Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams and Process Descriptions

· Prepare bid evaluation and technical recommendation of vendor

· Develop Process / Utility Flow Schemes / Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes

· Carryout Sizing of Process Equipment and Relief Valves

· Carryout Line Hydraulics and provide Inputs to Line Listing

· Provide direction and guidance on all process engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties

· Liaise with the Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion

· Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up

· Experience of the HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Reviews Participation

· Determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation

· Familiarity with the typical software packages that are used for process engineering design and selection (Hysys, ProII, Pipesim, Flaresim etc.)

· Providing Inputs to Material Selection Report, Cause & Effect Diagrams , Alarm &Trip Setting , Instrument Data Sheets and Hazardous Area Classification Schedule

Required Skills & Experience

Degree in Engineering, with a specialty for process or chemical discipline.
– Experience with oil and gas producers.
– Previous experience/involvement with international Exploration & Development projects and demonstrated experience with facilities, construction, and operations personnel.
– Experience with heavy oil sour applications and design and operating aspects
– Demonstrated the technical understanding of engineering activities including production, exploitation, operations.

-10 to 15 years of extensive experience in feasibility studies, options analysis, concept reporting and detail process design of oil & gas processing facilities (upstream)

– At least 10 years of detailed design experience with Facility Process Engineering environment in the oil & gas industry (upstream) & prior expertise on process equipment selection & installations.

– Flexibility for frequent travel to Iraq on a Rotation basis.
