Our client is looking for a Junior Architect.
The Job
Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements.
Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
Developing and presenting project proposals.
Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client’s needs.
Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.
Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
Managing project teams and collaborating with other construction professionals.
Ideal Candidate
You are a good multi-tasker who can work within tight deadlines.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate your ideas to different stakeholders.
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
You have proven working experience as an Architect
You have strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
You have expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
You have excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Autocad, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
You have strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
