The role is part of a central finance function catering to all entities within the Skybound group in Europe, Switzerland, USA and UAE.
Skybound have a policy of sponsoring all staff through relevant qualifications and promoting from within. The Accounts Assistant role is designed to progress the successful candidate into a Treasury and Management Accountant.
Key Duties:

• Record keeping of revenue and expenses
• Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations on central ERP system
• Identifying discrepancies between projections and actuals
• Handling central mailboxes for customer and supplier queries
• Aiding with analysis of trends and financial performance across business units
• Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing accounting reports and regional accounts
• Supporting year-end closing procedures
• Maintaining records and supporting the statutory audit

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Good IT Skills – an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• The ability to work alone, under pressure using your own initiative or working as part of a team
• Highly organized – manage workload and able to take on responsibility for your role
• 18-24 months of accounting
