Be part of our Customer Services team as an IT Specialist – VMware Administrative in Dubai, UAE.

What are my responsibilities?

• Install and configure new systems and applications, including operating systems, and other infrastructure components.
• Monitor systems performance to identify problems and make adjustments to improve performance
• Manage the lifecycle of the virtualization components aligned with the cyber security guidelines and mandatory patching activities.
• Maintain and manage the backup of data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues.
• Provide technical support and document VMware processes.
• create disaster recovery plans and procedures for responding to major outages affecting the data center.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in VMware technologies focused on HCI like vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, NSX-T, vRops, and vRLI.
• Experience with Dell PowerEdge servers and OpenManage (OME and OMIVV) is a plus.
• Excellent data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and PL/SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications.
• Experience with RHEL and Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Strong knowledge of VMware technologies.
• Any IT certification in related technologies will be an advantage.
• Able to work in shift patterns, handle shift duty individually & work under pressure.
• Understanding of Baggage Handling System material flow is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Good organization, time management, and prioritization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate openly and effectively on all levels across the team, internally and externally.
