Your profile

• University degree in Information Technology or related
• In-depth work experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide information management solutions
• Hands-on architecture and delivery experience of enterprise wide, large scale, cross functional data management solutions
• Longstanding experience in architecting enterprise data solutions
• Experience on a Big data platform, Hadoop infrastructure and internal and external cloud technologies
• 7+ Hands-on experience contributing to data/application architecture & designs, proven software/enterprise integration design patterns and full-stack knowledge including modern distributed front end and back-end technology stacks
• Experience working with ETL systems, SQL and NoSQL database
• Experience in architecting and developing cloud data solutions in multiple technologies (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google, HANA) preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships in a matrixed organizational structure

Your responsibilities

• Help lead the transformation of the corporate culture to treat data as a primary asset, as everyone’s responsibility, and how to work with data in new ways. Set the cultural tone for world class data in business area.
• Deliver world class Data & Analytics (D&A) capabilities which enables the business to realize value through consistent, accurate, reliable, and high-quality data and leading-edge data, reporting and analytical solutions
• Drive changes to D&A capabilities that anticipate changes to the business’ strategic direction leveraging the full capabilities in the data systems & insights centers of excellence
• Responsible for the development of the requirements, principles, models and designs for the future-state enterprise data and analytics architecture
• Carry-out a gap analysis between the future-state and current-state data architectures, and work with other enterprise architects to develop roadmaps for the careful and planned transition to the future state.
• Champion efforts and provide technical leadership to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure components.
• Oversee the implementation of enterprise data architecture through the organization’s enterprise data management programs and govern data architects in the appropriate data-modelling and data design activities.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive and influence technical design, data architecture and implementation of new features and iterations of core products
• Provides technical oversight on projects to ensure compliance through the adoption and promotion of industry standards / best practice / guiding principles aligned with organization data management standards.
• Influence the direction of data governance/ data management control standards via close collaboration with key stakeholders
• Drive modelling of data processing pipeline and data flows in logical and physical data models.
• Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, in addition to diplomacy skills, to guide, influence and convince key business stakeholders and customer.
• Build, lead and inspire a team of data specialists who will create and develop a world class data capability. Be an inspiring leader, mentor, and coach for the data architecture, modelling and analytics teams and an active member of the leadership team.
• Evaluate emerging trends such as big data, open data, and linked data, and determine the impacts on the future-state enterprise data architecture. Continue to constantly review new technologies and enhancements to data delivery, reporting and analytics tools
