The Marketing Lead is the interface between Sharaf Retail and the marketing agency and responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing marketing campaigns across all geographies, covering multiple brands and subcategories in the fashion and lifestyle retail space.Responsibilities:Working with the appointed marketing agency, to plan, develop and implement online and offline marketing strategies aligned to the company’s overall business objectives, including analysing market trends, identifying target audiences and creating campaigns and marketing executions that effectively reach them.Working with the appointed marketing agency, plan, coordinate, monitor, measure and regularly report on the execution of all marketing campaigns and promotional activities, including cost/benefit marketing effectiveness, results and all relevant deliverables/KPIs.To appoint, develop, motivate, direct and support reporting staff to ensure the department/function is meeting its objectives, targets and budgets and the overall needs of the organisation.Monitor the department/function and prioritise, communicate, assign or delegate responsibilities to direct reports to ensure the department is achieving the required levels of performance and take whatever remedial action is necessary.Prepare, monitor and adhere to an annual functional budget to ensure the function fulfils its objectives and ensure costs are kept within that budget whilst achieving designated KPIs, targets and objectives. To maintain accurate, up-to-date records and submit regular reports as required to track progress and effectiveness and ensure activities are in line with overall company strategy.To constantly look for ways to improve operational effectiveness and to suggest and implement improvements to internal procedures and controls to improve efficiency, reduce costs and promote and protect the business interests of the company wherever possible.To carry out duties as tasked, ensuring that the company service standards, objectives, internal policies & procedures and company values are met or exceeded at all times. Qualifications & Skills:A relevant communications or marketing or design and/or digital media degree5+ years media/advertising account management experience with a strong exposure and experience of digital marketing, with at least 3 years spent working on fashion retail or related accounts is essential.Able to work independently, with high levels of creative problem solving and strong collaborative relationship building skills able to work across functions/departments.
