To support Serco’s continuous growth, our team at MELABS is looking for a Project Manager to join us for a 3-month contract to provide additional project management capabilities to Base Operations and deliver minor new works and p rojects.
In the Middle East, we employ more than 5,500 people across four countries including the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq. Our employees remain our greatest asset.
Key accountabilities Provide technical advice to the Base Operations Manager on technical matters related to the project and its deliverables. Assess, develop, review, implement and improve the project management plans, project schedules and project deliverables. Review, analyze, update, understand and implement project operating procedures, plans, flow processes etc. Write effective Project Management plans, technical reports, notes from the scratch and submit them to the Base Operation Managers review and signature in the agreed timely manner.
What we are looking for in our candidates:
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
Ability to liaise in a professional and persuasive manner with staff at all levels in the organization and with the client.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines and schedules.
Specific requirements
PMI certified Project Manager with sound knowledge of Project Management Procedures.
Background in Civil Construction.
Experience working on MS Projects, MS Visio, Auto CAD and CAFM systems.
