Serco Plc Hiring for Divisional HSE Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

The Job Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to ensure the implantation of Serco HSE Management System across all sectors. The successful incumbent will ensure delivery of an effective HSE Training programme and support and ensure successful mobilzation of HSE elements and safety procedures on all new contract awards across sectors and countries where Serco operate.

Key accountabilities

• To ensure that the Division is aware of, share, and continue to comply with legislative and regulatory requirements and best practice.
• To contribute to the development of the Divisional Safety and Assurance imperatives and action plans and ensure understanding and delivery of these across the Division
• To lead and support on investigations into major incidents/accidents
• To ensure compliance reviews are planned, based on the Divisions risk profile, executed and reported on in a timely manner.
• To advise the Division Management Team on Assurance related requirements and issues and possible responses and controls to address these.
• To monitor and review all HSE actions arising from incidents, audit reports, compliance reviews and inspections and ensure that common themes are brought to the attention of Division management

What we are looking for in our candidates:

• Maintain the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates and any other certificates or accreditations as required
• Drive the continued enhancement of the HSE Strategy and Culture across the organisation.
• Knowledge of all the relevant disciplines and technologies associated with Serco Middle East Divisions.
• Knowledge of UAE and KSA Health & Safety and environmental legislation and practice and its application in high risk industries

Specific requirements

The NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent qualification

Lead Auditor Qualification (ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001)

Lead Audit Qualification ISO 14001

Experience in a [Facilities Management] environment

Six Sigma certification is a preference (yellow belt/green belt/black belt).
