Position OverviewThe Senior Manager of Procurement Strategy will be responsible for formulating and executing the strategic framework and annual financial plan for the designated category in collaboration with the business units and the Head of Procurement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development: Formulate and implement sourcing strategies at the project level that align with legal requirements, internal policies, best practices, and organizational objectives.Sourcing Leadership: Oversee and direct sourcing initiatives for new project developments, ensuring adherence to established milestones and timelines.Cost Improvement: Identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization to enhance cost efficiency.Supplier Analysis: Evaluate supplier proposals and assess total cost of ownership (TCO), consistently meeting or surpassing annual sourcing objectives and savings targets.Contract Negotiation: Lead price negotiations and finalize commercial supply agreements in close collaboration with the legal team.Market Insights: Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends and market dynamics to uncover opportunities for business enhancement, while mapping and interpreting current spending patterns to identify cost drivers.Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain active communication with stakeholders across various operational companies and develop digital solutions to achieve set KPIs and SLAs, along with regular reporting on sourcing strategies and outcomes.QualificationsProven experience in a large-scale Indirect Procurement environment managing diverse sourcing activities, particularly in Technology and IT sectors.Demonstrated success in negotiating substantial contracts with major technology firms.Experience in a Shared Services Procurement role is advantageous, providing oversight for procurement processes to ensure seamless operations.Comprehensive understanding of advanced procurement processes, systems, and methodologies.Ability to evaluate legal and business risks when making decisions regarding contractual obligations.A minimum of 7 to 10 years in a similar capacity, with at least 15 to 17 years of overall procurement experience.
