About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable full-stack solutions and APIs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop full-stack solutions using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and server-side programming languages such as.Net, Java, Ruby, and Python.Integrate and deploy scalable full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs at speed and scale, including integration with enterprise applications and APIs.Develop and maintain high-quality front-end technology, including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, as well as third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system architecture, including API integration with back-end and data pipelines.Develop and maintain databases and caching mechanisms, including DBMS technology, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL, as well as caching mechanisms like Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.Work with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux.Develop and maintain excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.Develop and maintain strategic thinking and influencing skills with demonstrated technical and business acumen and problem-solving skills.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, architect, or engineer with core hands-on experience.4+ years of hands-on experience in integrating, evaluating, deploying, operationalizing scalable full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs at speed and scale.5+ years of experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, as well as third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.5+ years of experience with development languages, including.Net, Java, Ruby, and Python.5+ years of experience with databases and caching mechanisms, including DBMS technology, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL, as well as caching mechanisms like Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.3+ years of basic UI/UX design ability, including knowledge of UI/UX and basic front-end prototype design.5+ years of experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux.Ability to visualize a proposed system involving API integration with back-end and data pipelines, and be able to build it.Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.Strategic thinker and influencer with demonstrated technical and business acumen and problem-solving skills.Nice to HaveExperience with full-stack engineering development for deep learning and LLM solutions, and contributing to Github and open source initiatives or in research projects.
