Job Summary
Account managers are at the core of Careem Express. They are our face to clients and we rely on them to provide an amazing merchant experience by building strong relationship, addressing issues quickly and using data insights to add value. They are responsible for growing demand in a sustainable way.
Roles & Responsibilities
Business development – Acquire new accounts in a new City (prospecting, targeting, pitching, contract negotiations, go-live)
Achieve monthly GMV targets through a mix of new merchant signups and increasing share of business with existing accounts.
Handle tier 1 clients (Key accounts)
Build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
Commercial understanding and handling negotiation with clients.
Work closely with operations / logistics team internally & make sure the client requirements are serviced and strike the right balance between operational feasibility, cost and client experience.
Profile requirements
4-5 years of sales & account management experience from food aggregator or on-demand logistics industry.
High performer – track record of generating revenue for businesses.
Business development mindset coupled with Operational detail orientation.
Problem solver.
Energetic and excited about joining a startup environment.
Arabic speaker (mandatory)
