Job Title: Primary School CounsellorFortes Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary School Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our wellbeing and leadership team, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing a counselling system for students across our schools.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality counselling intervention to students experiencing a wide range of emotional problems, ensuring equality of access.Support, guide, and advise parents, carers, and school staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.Liaise with staff to ensure pupils receive the support they need, contributing to the safeguarding and promotion of their welfare and personal care.Conduct case consultations with school personnel and parents, training teachers and parents on counselling-related issues.Identify, devise, and deliver specialised guidance programmes for students who need additional help in social and emotional development.Deliver therapeutic intervention based on individual needs and provide referrals to external services as necessary.Build deep and meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents, facilitating positive outcomes in all situations.Requirements:A degree in counselling, psychology, or psychotherapy.A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar field.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting the emotional wellbeing of students and can work collaboratively as part of a team.
