Duties & Responsibilities : Corporate Strategy:Contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial and strategic objectives Contribute to the development and execution of the section’ short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the function’s strategic priorities, and the corporate goals.Contribute to the development of action plans to promote person-centred care in your area Organization Structure, Manpower Planning and Budgeting:Contribute to the development of the department’s budget in alignment with the respective annual business plan. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:Supervise the implementation of sectional policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls covering the assigned areas of the division so that all relevant procedural /legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent mannerIdentify potential areas of improvement, to support an efficient and effective operation and contribute towards the continuous improvement of existing policies, processes and procedures by collating inputs from team, identifying and recommending improvements.Ensure compliance with bylaws, rules, and regulations adopted by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and by SGH. Warehouse ManagementEnsure optimization of space available through the development and implementation of efficient storage, tracking, and retrieval systems across the kitchen, medical and non-medical warehouses to minimize storage costs and ensure material movement ease.Monitor material transportation schedules between regional warehouses and Hospitals to ensure streamlined logistics operations and the efficient use of transportation equipment.Implement warehouse management best practices in diversified areas such as systems integration, optimization, inventory control, and demand planning and ensure that SGH uses world-class practices.Ensure that regional warehouses employees apply and monitor safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.Ensure adherence of all the warehouse activities to handling and storage legislation requirements to ensure patient safety.· Follow strict regulations regarding warehousing processes, and coordinate with other divisions heads to ensure compliance of different processes (storage, transportation, etc.) to regulatory standards. Inventory Management· Develop and monitor all Inventory KPIs (overages, supply bottlenecks, etc.) purchase request to delivery, stock days analysis, warehouse productivity) through regular performance review, compare performances to targets, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.· Ensure that the minimum level of required stock related to kitchen medical and non-medical items is always available within the main warehouse.· Interact with vendors, discuss recurrent issues, conduct root cause analysis to reveal unsatisfactory results to implement innovative solutions for inventory management issues, and enhance the process. · Analyses business data to make key decisions related to inventory management, managing transportation costs and routes, warehousing and distribution methods to enhance the process and ensure a cost-effective operation for the warehouses.· Monitor expiry date for all the products, and ensure that the storage methods comply with the required environment. · Manage all the delivery proof, and invoices, and ensure that the material delivered comply with the order. Safety, Quality & EnvironmentEnsure the application of safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.Enhance and Manage person-centred care behavioural expectations in order to comply with SGH values.Abide by CARE communication and service standards when interacting with other staff members or with patients and families. ReportingEnsure preparation of reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the departmental requirements, policies and standards.Responsible for confidentially of information that they access to or came across during their employment at SGH. People Management· Manages employee performance and development by assigning individual performance targets and development objectives at least on an annual basis.· Directs and supervises the activities and work of subordinates by providing formal and informal feedback regularly and on a timely basis, to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner and in accordance with set individual targets.· Contribute to the academic and training activities in the hospital in addition to your duties and responsibilities · Educate staff on patient experience survey questions, KPIs and targets for your area.· Observe individual staff members and evaluate demonstration of CARE communication and service standards· Manage the effective achievement of objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance and team motivation. General Responsibilities· Maintain professional growth and development to keep abreast of the latest trend of work scope.· Attend CARE training sessions and other training as required.· Provide solutions to meet and exceed patient’s expectations. Related Assignment· Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the Function Head.· Participate in hospital committee, task-force meetings and other meetings as required.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : *Masters Degree in Logistics with minimum 6-8 years of experience *Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Equivalent with 8-10 years of experience *Other Specifications: 3 years of experience at a Mid Management level.
