PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Global Cloud Services (GCS) is responsible for running SAP’s backend technology including operations of state-of-the-art data centers and the technical platforms as integral part and foundation for all SAP Cloud solutions and services around the globe.
The Cloud Infrastructure Services unit provides these shared services for SAP’s external Cloud Business and also for SAP’s internal infrastructure such as development, training, or demo landscapes.
Within GCS and among other responsibility, the Infrastructure Build organization (DIB) is globally responsible to fulfill the demand for Infrastructure capacities in the various Data Centers and hand it over to the consumers of the Infrastructure and to the Infrastructure Run organization. The Infrastructure Build is set up in regional units.
The role will work closely together with Infrastructure experts from Data Center, Order Management, Server, Network, Storage and Back up teams who execute the work within dedicated work centers.
The role reports to the Head of Infrastructure build.
