We are looking for a Business Controller to manage and develop the commercial reporting of the Sales Area Southern Europe and Middle East. Your target is to assure accuracy of our CRM data and develop the CRM reporting so valuable analysis can be provided for the different stakeholders. You are also expected to provide and analyse market intelligence information and support other finance organisations with financial reporting and forecasting.

This position will report to the Director Business Control for Sales Area South Europe and Middle East, and be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Your responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Being responsible of accuracy of the commercial data at CRM system and proactively improving the reporting of that information
• Supporting different stakeholders at the sales area with commercial and market insight, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Being responsible for gathering, consolidating, analyzing and sharing valid and up to date market insight for different stakeholders.
• Driving improvements within reporting and forecasting.
• Following up, analyzing and providing clear explanations and comments about actual results, forecast and targets.
• Consolidating and timely reporting of actual, forecast and target results.
• Providing administration support of Finance IT tools in day to day operations and acting as financial representative for future developments.

Your skills and qualifications

You ensure adherence to the Sandvik Way and established policies and procedures within your area of responsibility. You have a strong eye for detail.

Coupled with the right attitude, you have the business acumen to understand the current business environment and predict future trends. You have to be analytical and development minded to challenge existing ways of working and propose solutions to improve the processes.

You have an understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. You are experienced in financial analysis to interpret financial data and make predictions and informed decisions based on the data.

Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English both verbal and written are prerequisites for this role. You have the ability to convey information clearly and concisely especially to non-financial people. You have the ability to listen to others and to respond to questions or concerns in a way that is helpful.

You are experienced working with financial IT systems and possess advance knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Knowledge of database/coding such as SQL/DAX and systems such as Salesforce will be added positives.

A University Degree in either accounting, finance or business administration are preferred.

Experience about commercial reporting and analysis are an advantage.

You may be required to travel internationally from time to time.
