We are currently working with a multinational company who are expanding across META. Our client is looking for someone to help with the smooth running of the Dubai Office. Working alongside and liaising with the Managing Director.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Coordinating all operations
• Supervise all personnel (event coordinators, office staff, customer service representatives, etc.)
• Plan events, prepare budgets, and ensure adherence
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
• Take full ownership of event planning and management process
• Ensure events are completed smoothly and proactively step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Evaluate the event’s success and prepare reports
• Ensure that all events are executed within the approved budget
• Oversee the booking of appropriate event venues, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure quality compliance across all events
• Attend events and manage onsite team members
• Develop and maintain all policies and procedures manuals
• Prepare and review operational gaps, success, and other reports
• Delegate tasks appropriately and effectively
• Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments
• Assess staff performance and identify areas of weaknesses and implement corrective measures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in both operations management and event management
• Project management experience and skills
• Project management IT Systems / applications
• Well versed in events management system and CRM
• Knowledge of KPIs and marketing strategies for event management
• Computer savvy; proficiency in MS Office
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Customer-service orientation
• A team player with leadership skills
• Proven results in successfully planning or leading events
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Strong multitasking skills to handle numerous projects and deadlines
