As a Floor Manager, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our business. You will be responsible for supervising and managing the activities of the floor staff to optimize productivity, customer service, and overall performance. Your leadership skills will be utilized to motivate and guide your team toward achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily operations on the floor, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and product replenishment
– Supervise and train floor staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback
– Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and holidays
– Monitor employee performance, implementing corrective actions or recognizing exceptional achievements
– Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
– Collaborate with other department managers to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance visual merchandising standards
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market demands to support decision-making processes
– Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business management is a plus
– Proven experience in retail or hospitality management, particularly in a fast-paced environment
– Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and other stakeholders
– Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
– Sound problem-solving abilities to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
– Proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite) for generating reports and analyzing data
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
