The Role
About the Client: A Dubai based Commodity Trading company with active market participation in UK and expanding globally Job Description: • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements) to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts. • Manage and coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in the different jurisdictions in which we have operations. • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to collaborate with auditing services and ensure proper compliance with all regulations. • Collect and analyze financial data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates • Prepare weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data and preparation of receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks

Requirements
Position Title: Senior Accountant Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 12K AED, all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE Qualifications: • 40 y/o and below • BSc degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or relevant field; ACCA or CPA is preferred • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance from large accounting /audit firms; 1 year in similar business activities (e.g., Trading / Electricity Trading) • Exposure to finance issues in multiple jurisdictions with experience with Group accounting and cross border transactions • In-depth understanding of bookkeeping procedures • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations • Open to overseas candidates
