Job Purpose – Carry out many tasks such as inbound planning, people management, optimization, inventory accuracy and co-ordinate to ensure that goods are received/dispatched out in a timely manner and the KPIs are constantly monitored and met.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee daily operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to meet SLAs.Ensure operations are efficient, timely, and cost-effective.Implement operational policies and procedures to uphold high standards.Team Management:Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, supervisors, and support personnel.Foster a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork and continuous improvement.Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for development.Process Optimization:Analyze processes and implement best practices to improve workflow and reduce costs.Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to achieve operational targets.Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee stock control processes.Health and Safety:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular audits and training to mitigate risks.Customer Service:Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order fulfillment issues.Maintain high customer satisfaction through accurate order processing.Systems:Oversee WMS and other system implementations and maintenance.Utilize technology to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations, preferably in quick commerce or e-commerce.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.Knowledge of health and safety regulations.Skills:Strong organizational and time-management skills.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
