Roche Hiring for Receptionist (Fixed term contractor) Job at Dubai Full Time

Summary

We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company offering administrative support across Roche. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit our business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence, redirecting phone calls, and ensuring the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office & connect them with the appropriate party
• Complete required facility & company procedures when guests arrive & depart
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary equipment and materials
• Provide basic information in-person and via phone/email and where necessary on-pass to the relevant person/department
• Receive, sort and distribute mail/courier deliveries
• Maintain office security and SHE policies by following safety procedures and controlling access
• Order front office supplies/stationary and keep inventory of stock
• Ordering of business cards
• Updating of telephone lists
• Monitor and coordinate employee parking allocations
• Coordinate with building management and IT for access cards
• Liaison with building management for any facilities maintenance issues
• Perform other clerical receptionist and administrative support for various departments.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organisational skills
• Empathy and interpersonal skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Flexible
