The Position


Summary

As a Program Medical Value Partner you are involved in solving unique and strategic problems and opportunities that have an impact on the organization. Create value by strategic Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and People with Diabetes (PwD) engagement, as well as engaging in a broader healthcare network to position Roche Diabetes Care as best partner for integrated Personalized Diabetes Management (iPDM). You drive collaborations with internal and external stakeholders and position of Roche’s current product and solutions portfolio as well as integrated Personalized Diabetes Management (iPDM) in a wider context. You are actively involved in, or leading, networks and communities of practice on a global level.


Your Responsibilities

  • Start initiatives for improvement for PwD and healthcare professionals beyond the diabetes care and RDC
  • Contribution and committing to the OneMedical objectives and goals, identifying the medical KPIs at cluster & global level and commit to delivering those in a timely manner
  • Execution of the cluster/ country medical affairs activities – contributing locally and for other countries in or outside of the cluster. This could include the following:

    • Stakeholder collaboration and engagement (HCPs, KOLs, PwD, patient and healthcare organizations)
    • Medical education and scientific communication (internal and external)
    • Policy development and advocacy
    • Evidence generation – Generating insights into new opportunities, provide medical input into the development and execution of clinical trials or clinical research related activities
    • Create awareness and understanding of the iPDM strategy
  • Business partner to cluster commercial team on specific topics
  • Active member of the cluster/ direct-reporting country team
  • Actively leading or creating global networks and/or communities of practice
  • Point of contact for specific topics


Who You Are

  • You hold a BSc and a postgraduate degree in a relevant scientific medical field
  • You built 5 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry in a medical affairs position
  • You are a strategic thinker and built previous experience in supporting the business with strategic projects
  • You have deep knowledge of the medical device industry including regulations
  • You have affinity with data science and are familiar with digital health solutions
  • You have a collaborative spirit and have interest in the best outcome result
  • You have solid understanding of good clinical practice and ethical standards
  • You have strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • You have strong organization and planning skills, and are able to operate successfully in a matrix environment with shared accountability and responsibilities
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken
  • You have an innovative, creative, and growth mindset
  • You are not afraid to give and receive feedback, pro-actively asks for help, help others to achieve success, inspire and radiate energy and passion
  • You are result oriented and are able to learn and transfer new content quickly
