Position Title: Logistics ManagerLocation: KEZAD and JAFZA, UAEExperience Required: Minimum 10 YearsRNZ group is a leading fertilizers manufacturing company based in KEZAD, specializing in innovative solutions for sustainable farming. We offer cutting-edge products and services to enhance crop yield, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, driving the future of agriculture in the UAE and beyond.Key Responsibilities:Logistics Coordination and Management:Oversee and manage the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective transportation and distribution of goods.Coordinate and negotiate Full Container Load (FCL), brick bulk, and barge shipments for exports from KEZAD and JAFZA.Arrange and manage land transportation to GCC countries, ensuring compliance with regional regulations.Customs and Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all customs regulations are met, leveraging expertise with customs cards for JAFZA and KEZAD.Utilize knowledge of ALTP MAQTA and E-MERSAL systems for seamless customs operations and documentation.Warehouse Management:Monitor and manage warehouse operations within UAE and abroad, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient space utilization.Implement and oversee inventory control measures to ensure accurate and timely stock levels.System and Process Optimization:Utilize SAP systems for logistics and warehouse management, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.Vendor and Stakeholder Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms for transportation and logistics services.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics operations with business objectives.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international regulations related to logistics and transportation.Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop strategies to mitigate them.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, with a strong background in customs operations within KEZAD and JAFZA.Licenses/Certifications: Valid driving license, customs card for JAFZA and KEZAD.Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, ALTP MAQTA, E-MERSAL.Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and rates with shipping companies and land transportation providers.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Desired Traits:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.
