We’re currently on the lookout for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage the interface between the company and local government organisations. The role will be based in our Dubai office and focus on effective and timely completion of critical personnel, licencing and utility related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain employment contracts
• Process and maintain entry visas
• Process and maintain medical examinations and records
• Complete other tasks related to immigration and labour
• Support the business, its personnel and their dependants with expert advice on government related formalities
• Process and maintain utilities contracts
• Process trade licence applications and changes
• Manage import and export licences
• Any other government related tasks as required
• Keep abreast of changing government policies, responding as required
• Action urgent requests in a timely manner
• Public relations related filing and administration

Requirements

Education & training:

• High school education
• Degree qualification advantageous but not essential

Technical requirements:

• Strong spoken and written English and Arabic
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills
• Competent working with MS Office and other applications
• Valid driver’s licence

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience working as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in UAE
• Experience dealing regularly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
