We’re currently on the lookout for a Financial Controller for our Middle East region to manage and control finance within the business. The role will be based in our Dubai office and focus on timely management information, project reporting, invoicing and cash flow management.

The role, which has two direct reports, will suit a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Manage company finance function

• Monitor and report on company financial performance

• Monitor and report on project financial performance

• Engage with commercial, operations and service colleagues

• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance

• Support the directors in achieving the company’s strategic aims

• Prepare annual budgets

• Prepare monthly management accounts

• Oversee book keeping, invoicing and credit control

• Manage cash, foreign exchange and payment runs

• Manage international entity local compliance

• Manage international payroll and oversee domestic payroll

• Manage end of year process and statutory compliance

• Maintain banking and insurance relationships

• Other finance related activities as may be required from time to time

Requirements

Education & training:

• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant

• Degree qualified advantageous

Technical requirements:

• Strong business acumen

• Strong communication skills and confident, outgoing personality

• Confident user of accounting software

• Strong MS Office suite skills

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar position

• Experience managing the finances of an international company advantageous
