MAIN PURPOSE:
IN CHARGE OF LEADING THE PLANNING, ORGANIZATION AND EXECUTION OF ALL REGIONAL EVENTS
IN CHARGE OF ALL POSM FOR THE REGION (PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY)
AND OF THE VM GUIDELINES EXECUTION
IN CHARGE OF STORE DESIGN PLANNING FOR ALL NEW BOUTIQUE OPENINGS
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
EVENT PLANNING AND EXECUTION
Develop and execute comprehensive event plans in collaboration with HQ and local teams, ensuring seamless coordination and flawless execution from conception to completion.
Manage all aspects of event production and logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual setup, and entertainment.
Regional Implementation:
Demonstrate a proven track record in successfully implementing events in different countries, including knowledge of local regulations, cultural sensitivities, and logistical considerations.
Ability to adapt strategies and plans based on regional nuances and requirements.
Leadership and Coordination:
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external vendors, to ensure effective collaboration and successful event delivery.
Manage and delegate tasks, ensuring clear communication and accountability throughout the event planning process.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-effective planning. Track expenses, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING AND STORE DESIGN PLANNING
Execute the global visual merchandising guidelines that align with the Maison’s positioning and objectives. Accountable for visually appealing displays to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Develop and communicate visual merchandising guidelines to boutique teams, ensuring brand consistency and compliance. Provide training and support to boutique teams on visual merchandising techniques and best practices.
POSM:
source, select, and procure all POS materials that align with the Maison’s aesthetics and quality standards.
Ensure consistency in visual merchandising across multiple boutique locations global sourcing for standard animations and local production for specific hallmarks.
Macro and micro zoning:
optimize boutique and pop-up layouts and space utilization to maximize product visibility, desirability, and client journeys. Analyze data, customer behavior, and industry trends to make informed decisions regarding layout improvements.
Inventory Management:
Collaborate with operations teams to monitor POSM stock levels and make recommendations for replenishment or clearance. Motivate a team of sales associates in charge of visual merchandising, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Lead the planning and implementation of new store design projects, ensuring a cohesive and engaging store environment that reflects the Maison’s identity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and HQ SDP and VM teams to achieve the desired design vision.
Market Trends and Competitor analysis:
stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging visual merchandising techniques.
JOB PROFILE:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputed Business school with specialization in Marketing
Required experience:
Minimum 6 years in a similar Event management position Experience in handling high event budgets Technical skills/ abilities in line with JD Strong analytical skills Strong project management skills Strong knowledge of luxury retail trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics (ideally in the GCC region).
