REPORTING TO Regional Internal Controls Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

Support the Regional Internal Controls (ICS) Function in MEIA. This includes the following:

• Assurance activities in the entity, focusing on Richemont Dubai
• Manage the ICS process and ensure a strong control framework.
• Ensure the effective implementation of policies & procedures across the Company.
• Perform audits and process reviews as required.
• Escalate issues as soon as confirmed to Regional ICS Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Regional ICS Mgr. on the effective implementation of Test of Design (TOD) on key processes throughout the Company
• Review financial controls across various cycles such as Treasury, Retail Sales, Financial Reporting etc.
• Identify issues and corrective action plans with the Control Owners
• Propose the implementation of new processes.
• Communicate the I-CARE results & deficiencies to external auditors and Regional ICS, if any, as well as the mitigating action plan.

• Support the Regional ICS Manager with any audits or process reviews
• Promote control awareness among RIC and Maison staff, and contribute to regional efforts towards a continuous improvement of processes and procedures

• Analyse data from various sources and test controls.
• Where applicable, using data, assess trends and test risk-based controls

• Work closely with Accounting, Market Finance Heads and other Markets’ ICS teams

Educational Background

Enrolled in a Bachelor degree in a relevant field e.g. Business, Accounting etc.

Technical/Work-based Skills or specific knowledge (Must Have)

Fluent in English

Data analytics / Strong knowledge of Excel

Experience

Prior work experience (e.g. an Internship) in Audit/Compliance or any Finance area is preferred
