MAIN PURPOSE
The Area Sales Manager “Travel Retail & Wholesale” is responsible for the brand development and to safeguard the brand image within his/her scope within the UAE network.
His/her mission is to achieve sales targets and ensure the highest level of service to the accounts under his/her control; to define, in collaboration with the UAE Commercial Direction, the strategic business plan and implement it accordingly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel Retail & Wholesale business development
Establish strong relationships with the Maison’s partners within the UAE market Build a 3-year plan network strategy for his/her scope in line with the market strategic plan Be responsible for implementing brand vision and elevating the brand image Explore all touchpoints, POS, E-partner as well as Pop-Up stores opportunities and transform all relevant ones into successful projects: from identification and assessment of potential partners/locations/website to negotiation on commercial conditions, contract, and targets Ensure maximum space & visibility in the network for the Maison Prepare and participate to events such as Watches & Wonders, Vision’Air, HJ Events…
Network Performance
Forecast accurately annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly revenue streams Set up sales targets and ensure objectives achievement for each touchpoint of his/her scope Determine priority actions to achieve targets and follow up on their implementation Take the responsibility of the implementation of the action plans to increase network sell out while monitoring with Partners a healthy quality of stock: model stock respect; out-of-range vs in-range; correct ratio Sell-in vs. Sell-out
Financial KPI’s Management
Follow up closely on weekly basis client’s payments targets and credit limits compliance Monitor budgets linked to department activities: selling costs, T&E, VM, Capex; etc…
Touchpoints / POS Operations excellence
Guarantee the highest standards of operations (Client Service, Boutique/Espace maintenance, etc.) to achieve the business targets and satisfy clients’ expectations Ensure the correct implementation of the Maison’s policies and procedures and their local adaptation and correct usage in the network Realize field visits to evaluate operations and monitor compliance to the brand guidelines in terms of Visual Merchandising, Espace, assortments, pricing, etc… Lead & guide boutique managers and PoS sales director Implement correct boutique structures with Partners Develop high-end business (High Jewelry, Fine Watchmaking, Fine Jewelry Watch) Follow-up on the staff training within the network and on customer service implementation with local Operations Coordinator and local L&D department.
Marketing plan
Define and develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all product categories (action plans by boutique and specialist) Update your partners with information on new products and secure related orders Implement various product launch plans as specified by Marketing department
Competitors Insight
Monitor the competition within the territory under your control, competitive products, pricing, network development (expansion and visibility) Identify prospective clients within your area and compiles necessary information about their operations

Education:
MBA Graduate degree in a reputable university or equivalentRequired experience:
At least 10 years of experience in luxury environment At least 3 years of retail experienceTechnical skills / abilities:
Computer skills (knowledge of MS Word, Excel) Knowledge of English and French; Arabic is a plus Ability to write reports Personal skills
