In addition, you have:

• Work experience/field: Managing people and leading teams, ideally teams are based in different locations. Relevant experience in operational roles (especially manufacturing background) ideally in the steel industry. Minimum 3- 5 years of experience will be preferred
• Educational background: Diploma, Degree, or Equivalent Engineering degree in Ceramics/ Metallurgy or equivalent
• IT skills: Should be proficient in MS Office, and Excel PowerPoint.
• Language skills: Fluency in English will be crucial while working with an international team. Hindi speaking will be the additional advantage
• Other skills: Good team orientation
• Location: Oman, West Asia
• Travel requirements: Need base not frequent, Shift wise duty rotation inessential

About the job

The re-shaped Refractory Services will be a center of knowledge and resources when it comes to delivering best-in-class services to our customers. In line with our strategy of providing tailored solutions to our customers, we are creating roles that clearly focus on the professional management of on-site services. Increasing our efficiency in site operations will lead to more success for us as RHIM- but also for our customer and their business.

• Managing the execution of the long-term service contract at our customer’s sites through a team of experts in the region (Installation managers, supervisors, service technicians)
• Ensuring Health and safety as a priority in the specific contracts.
• Driving and Implementing LEAN Management & continuous improvement in the region.
• Performance Tracking and identification of added value to our customer operations.
• Acting as the counterpart of site managers & shift personnel, blue color workforce to develop existing long-term contracts
• Cooperating closely and exchanging with On-site service his team, central team, sales force and another cross-functional team to ensure that the best services are shared and implemented.

Your tasks will include:

• Responsible for managing refractories execution in different aggregates like EAF,Steel Ladle, Tundishes , Slide Gate, Purging etc ,
• Representing RHI Magnesita in front of the client, seeking full compliance with the contract, to, guarantee the safety, quality, customer focus and controlled execution costs, ensure timely execution of refractories job
• Regular coordination with the existing site forces and local contract coordinators for the smooth execution of various contracts in his/her respective sites
