As a Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting aircraft maintenance activities, overseeing the various aspects of the aerodrome such as:Administration, training coordination, logistics operations, licensed engineers, airframe and engine maintenance, and providing general support to ensure smooth operations.The role will involve directing the operational facilities and resources to support the business, with a strong focus on continuously improving safety, delivery, and quality performance while optimizing costs.Additionally, you will take proactive measures to address any aircraft issues promptly, ensuring swift resolutions for our clients.Oversee Functions: AdministrationTrainingLogisticsB1/B2 Licensed EngineersAirframe & Engine and Electrical & AvionicsGeneral Support for OperationsResponsibilities:Ensure safety, environmental compliance, quality, and timely delivery of aircraft inputs as per agreed schedules.Collaborate with the key stakeholders to optimize productivity, whilst also focusing and improving cost performance.Lead and supervise production tasks to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.Coordinate with maintenance teams across heavy planned/unplanned maintenance projects.Allocate resources to maintain work schedules, where necessary, escalate resource shortages.Develop and implement a effective Key Performance Indicator programme for personnel.Work with key stakeholders and technical resources to maximize workforce utilizationEnsure proper maintenance of facilities and adherence to procedural requirements.Tasks:Primary point of contact for all daily tasks and technical matters.Manage shifts to ensure resources are allocated and available daily.Liaise with key stakeholders regarding business continuity and performance, provide general management support to stakeholders.Oversee staff management (Technical Staff), including policy compliance, dispute resolution, and disciplinary actions.Implement, Review, Develop and Mentor employees through growth and performance development reviews identifying any training/leadership requirements.Behavioural Competencies:You will be a leader who can proactively: Drive Results, Challenge, Focus, DevelopTechnical Competencies:Risk ManagementProven LeadershipStrong businessCustomer-focusedSelf-starter with high energy levels, the ability to tackle challenges, and see them through to resolution.Team playerComputer skillsEducation:IoSH qualifiedCompleted Level 3 Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or Equivalent.EASA B1 or B2 License Holder or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance management.Experience:Experience within an Aerospace environment.Identification and implementation of process improvements.Experience in delivering projects with a focus on operational delivery.Additional Local Needs:Ability to drive in the UAE.Regular international travel.
