Events Coordinator for an International Professional Services Firm
Key responsibilities:
Working with the Business Support & Events Specialist for Middle East & Africa (based in Dubai). This role will primarily support the logistics coordination of small to large-scale events (20 – 1000 people) in the MEA region to include:
- Venue sourcing and event proposal creation
- Budget management and reconciliation of Invitation management and delegate experience (including rooming lists)
- Event host and stakeholder management of Vendor coordination and management
- Event show flows/scheduling
- Ensure audio visual production and branding is in accordance with company standards
- Onsite event execution
- Email marketing management
- Confidently network with internal and external parties
Other administrative and coordinating duties may from time to time include:
- Scheduling support, booking of flights, hotels and transfers
- Making sure necessary approvals and signatures are obtained for business continuity
- Conference registrations and any other ad hoc duties
- Data capturing and reporting
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of administration and events coordination background (Corporate and/or Agency experience)
- Well-articulated, with an excellent command of the English language
- Ability to interpret and disseminate information quickly
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills and relationship management
- Experience working across geographies (Middle East/Europe)
- Highly organized and methodical thinking with an interest in peer to-peer engagement and interactive technologies
