The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong eye for photography and a deep understanding of current trends in social media videography. They will be responsible for capturing a wide range of visuals, including hospitality and product shoots, food photography, interiors, lifestyle and events. The videography they produce should be modern, high-quality, and conceptually interesting.
Key requirements for this position include:
- Creating visually appealing and professional photographs and videos for use in social media marketing materials, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn ads and banner ads.
- Setting up and capturing great shots to meet project briefs, including basic lighting and optimal audio capture.
- Basic editing of photos and videos using Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
- Managing and archiving completed projects.
- Experience with camera operation, DSLR and digital video cameras, sound equipment, lighting equipment, and the overall production process.
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, including working outside of regular office hours and on weekends during busy periods.
- A creative and original approach to visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of industry-leading software, equipment, and technologies.
- Professionalism and punctuality.
- Familiarity with safe work practices, particularly in regard to lighting and manual handling.
- The ability to work collaboratively with the marketing and communications team to produce photography and videography that aligns with brand standards.
- Strong editing skills for both photo and video.
- The ability to take on multiple roles as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week
Pay: AED1,000.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
