Ramboll is committed to its digitalisation strategy, and we are looking to strengthen our team further, with the addition of a Digital Design Specialist.

TheDigital Design Specialist will support the Middle East ’Head of Digital Design & BIM’ on the continuing development and implementation of Ramboll Middle East (ME) digital delivery procedures, standards, tools, and guidance.

Your responsibilities as Digital Design Specialist

Business Planning and Budgeting

• Support the ’Head of Digital Design & BIM’ to monitor progress against plan and budget
• Support key bidding activity
• Support the production of marketing and bid information to for value-add digital design services
• Support business development activities to promote Ramboll ME digital design capabilities in the ME Market

Digital Design Support

• Propose process improvements based on current industry trends
• Support on project procedure setup in line with relevant Client standards (e.g., ISO19650)
• Support on automation initiatives to enhance and streamline digital project delivery process
• Support progress meetings with discipline teams and report on project status
• Support project audits for the digital design process
• Support on guiding and monitoring digital design implementation
• Support on best practice in the use of digital design tools across disciplines
• Support on project CDE setup in cloud

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

• Support the ’Head of Digital Design’ on feedback and opportunities for improvements to digital design process
• Where, opportunities for improvements are highlighted, propose and support on the implementation of appropriate improvements to digital design process
• Ensuring lessons are learnt from project successes as well as project failures and are disseminated throughout Ramboll
• Support on the assessment of existing digital design skills and training / upskilling on an ongoing basis
• Support to ensure digital delivery excellence and robust coordination on multi discipline projects, including the management of external consultants where Ramboll are lead consultant

Your required skills and qualifications

• Thorough understanding of current industry practices such as ISO19650, BIM Forum guide etc
• Candidates should have a passion for direction the AEC industry is moving (automation, generative design, computational design & digital twins etc)
• Experience in creation of digital delivery procedures (BIM Execution plans & associated documents such as TIDP / MIDP, LOIN Matrix, Clash Matrix etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience of training staff to upskill in digital delivery process and software
• ACC / BIM 360 set up and admin management is desirable
• Experience supporting multi-discipline Coordination services on large complex building projects
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk software such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC & BIM 360
• Dynamo experience is desirable
• Rhino & Grasshopper experience would be an advantage
• Power BI experience would be an advantage
• A Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline would be an advantage
