Rambøll Hiring for 3D Building Computational Designer Job at Dubai Full Time

We invite you to bring your computational design experience into play as you will be and providing building strategies and design simulations for various project designs in coordination with Architects and clients for all design stages.

To succeed in this role, you must have either a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural-Engineering, Structural Engineering or MEP Engineering. A minimum of 3years of professional experience as a computational/parametric designer in the relevant field is preferred but we would also welcome fresh graduates to apply too.

We are looking for a candidate that can immerse themselves in converting the design ideas, visualize it and develop the design parametrically with Rhino/Grasshopper and other plug-ins to realize the design by incorporating various engineering inputs into a solid concept design. The candidate must also be able to articulate, appraise the design and convert his/her design into graphical presentation with digital illustrations.

You will join our Buildings department

As our new 3D Building Computational Designer, you will be part of our global High-Rise department, Ramboll’s dedicated team of high-rise experts which have designed over 150 tall building projects globally, including some of the most technically challenging designs.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Implement and play with parametric design at the first stage of the conceptual design with Rhino/Grasshopper and other relevant plug-in tools.
• Participate for design workshops, with architects and engineers, to optimize building solutions for the project.
• Sketch details to develop building envelope concepts and to translate yours and the team’s ideas to clients and architects.
• Develop multi-criteria analysis and designs with different solutions and their technical implementations on the project.
• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team & working together with architects and building professionals of other disciplines.
• Able to produce REVIT output from the parametric design
• Create Technical 3D Models, 3D Renderings with digital illustrations.
• Proficient in articulating the design ideas developed from the parametric studies into a graphical presentation with digital illustrations

• Experience with Architectural/Engineering Parametric Design (STR/MEP/Sustainability/Facades)
• Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Karamba or Similar is a must and LadyBug, HoneyBee, Butterfly, OpenFoam and others (Optional)
• Experience and confidence with scripting and programming like Python & C# is added advantage.
• Previous experience in architectural/engineering practice; Relevant design/ architecture education.
• Sketching & presentation skills are a must. Preferred software or graphic design skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Revit, Sketch-Up, MS PowerPoint will be a bonus.
• Hands-on, independent attitude.

• Able to plan work and time management in delivery.
• Willing to learn, motivated, enthusiastic and social.
• Language: English any other language is a plus
