Position Description

• Implement corporate strategy in the region, through defined tactical plans

• Validate and implement successful selling channels, processes and opportunities, while coaching and developing individuals/teams of Commercial Partners so that they have the direction, skills and tools to achieve targets

• Provide support to commercial partners’ in implementing Sales and Marketing plans

• Enhance customer satisfaction and increase our competitive advantage while building trust and relationships with customers through the Commercial Partner team

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers and references in conjunction with the Commercial Partners

• Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities by visiting customers regularly

• Conduct seminars/exhibitions and increase number of strategic partnerships within market (together with the Commercial Partner)

• Communicate market information through business teams, CRM market feedback, and/or other approved channels

• Drive customer satisfaction and increase competitive advantage by building trust and relationships

• Develop relationships with key customers and commercial partners helping them understand how to use the products in different settings for different purposes

• Develop and integrate an effective portfolio business plan with appropriate team members of the Commercial Partners in the assigned territory

• Utilize SFDC database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness

• Meet expense budget guidelines. Utilize communication channels to ensure effective communication across business units and commercial partners

• Drive Commercial partners to achieve targets

• Conduct regular and effective business reviews with Commercial Partners and take relevant actions where necessary.

Position Requirements

• Degree in biological sciences or equivalent; MBA or working towards
• Minimum 5 years sales experience with a proven track record in Life Sciences/Molecular /Diagnostics markets.
• Proven successful leadership, team management and budget experience
• Knowledge of relevant markets, both Life Sciences and Diagnostics, molecular biological topics and products would be advantageous
• Proven experience of working with Commercial Partners
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
