A reputable Food & Beverage company looking for a motivated Accountant (F&B) having compulsory experience of Sapaad POS & Xero Accounting software.
The Role:
- Daily sales audit and reconciliation with POS report and bank deposit.
- Catering Sales tracking
- Inventory management by monthly physical count.
- Maintain PDC register and assure that we have sufficient funds before the due date.
- Checking of online media sales like Zomato, Talabat & Deliveroo etc.
- Prepare supplier payments as per aging.
- Keep record of all the prepaid expenses like deposits, rent and insurance etc.
- Cost analysis on monthly basis and meeting with Head of Accounts to reduce the costs and wastage.
- Maintain Petty Cash and head office expenses.
- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Prepare payments.
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate historical records
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related field.
- Sapaad POS ( Basic Knowledge ) Xero Accounting Experience must.
- Experience in Restaurants or Hospitality is a MUST
- Good exposure on GL reconciliation and VAT filling.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals * Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Organizational & time management skills
- Analytical and numerical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED2,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
