Premier Marine Hiring for Design Engineer Job at Dubai Full Time

Premier Marine Engineering Services is sourcing for a Design Engineer to work at their HO in Dubai Maritime City (DMC).

The candidate should be a qualified engineer (BTech/MTech in Marine Engineering, Diploma in Marine Engineering) with knowledge of AutoCAD 2d & 3d, Aveva marine piping and outfitting, Nest fab (nesting software), Rhyno 6, Fastnest (CNC program), Columbus (plasma CNC program), MS Office, minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a Designer.

The preferred candidate should have knowledge of producing detailed designs of ships, boats and other maritime vessels using drawings and specialist computer software. developing and utilising test procedures including computer modelling and scale models. interpreting and analysing data and test results, design new engineering products and processes, craft models and drawings of products using CAD, analyse prototype data and retest if needed, research new ideas and methods, improve existing processes, ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards, maintain accurate records, Interact with Clients, conduct surveys with class surveyors, prepare proposal drawing/design as per client requirements, knowledge of plan elevation drawing, piping isometric drawing, drawings for class approval, fabrication drawings for production, knowledge of ship repair, ability to work as a project engineer/ estimator for repair jobs
