SUMMARY FOR THE WORK

Ø The ideal candidate will be an experienced and agile finance or accounting professional who is passionate and excited about accounting and reporting and have experience with the details of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting, and related analytical analysis.

Ø Traits we are looking for in a candidate are a strong desire to exceed expectations, effective interpersonal skills; including persuasive written and oral communication, solid organizational skills, ability to assess and manage risk, and willingness to get into the details whilst also seeing and understanding the big picture.

Ø We are seeking a Licensed Accountant to join our organization and become a major contributor to our team.

Ø A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting and internal control-related responsibilities. The role has responsibility for the controllership and accounting function in support of UAE operations. In addition to the accounting and reporting responsibilities, the individual will drive and develop best practices in processes and controllership in the organization. She will also drive the implementation of accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities (include the following but not limited to):

1) Full Accounting, preparation until finalization of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cashflows, etc)

2) UAE VAT preparation, reporting & filing.

3) Assist in the quarterly/semi & yearly audit

4) Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for the management

5) Direct responsibility for improving accounting processes and controls for a company with a high volume of transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

1) Finished degree in Accountancy or related degree

2) CPA / ACCA License Holder

3) At least 3 years experience in UAE in a similar/related role

4) In canceled / visit visa

5) Available to start as early as January 2022

OTHER SKILLS

1) Tech Savvy (Expert in MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, others)

2) Experience in using ZOHO Accounting Software

3) Excellent verbal and written communication in English
