ROLE SUMMARY
The Snr Marketing Associate for the Gulf will define and drive product growth and lifecycle management, forecast revenue and OPEX of assigned brands such as new launches for the Oncology BU.
This role will work in coordination with the Category Lead, Oncology to ensuring the realization of revenue and profitability targets of assigned brands across the Gulf markets (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait)
This position will work in alignment with the Category Lead, Oncology and Country Brand Lead (CBL) to own select brand strategy and drive its implementation for the Oncology portfolio.
In this role the senior marketing associate will ensure the compliant execution of external engagements, curation of promotional campaigns, project management for the new assets as well as the timely reporting of key Marketing KPIs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Management
Support in portfolio strategic management and to make trade off decisions on which products to focus upon. Lead Project management for our digital transformation in this category Work hand in hand with the regulatory team to find opportunities within the Oncology portfolio Provide local insights and brand feedback to the Category lead (CL)and Country Brand Lead (CBL) Select best-fitting modules from cross-EM content; translate and trans-create brand materials, as needed Manage local agencies for trans-creation (budget, scope, timing, and quality of project) Forecast brand performance and track progress towards target aligning with Sales / BU lead Allocate and execute in country brand budget alignment in collaboration with the Sales/BU lead Provide cross-functional portfolio leadership across the Field Force, account management, medical, legal, regulatory, Access, GCO, BAI etc. Support Field Force trainings on product positioning and prioritization
Partner with the Medical teams to educate KOLs on emergent medical research and differentiated product attributes within the product category(ies).
Oncology Therapy Portfolio Alignment
Create and refresh brand strategies for assigned portfolio in collaboration with the CBL(s) and CL
Select best fitting modules to support campaign development for country needs in alignment with Category Lead and CBL
Manage compliance review of materials during promotional meetings
Shared Accountability
Develop Country Op Plan and influence sales targets and brand A&P allocations (with Sales/BU Lead, Category Lead and Category Manager)
Support with long-range forecasting in collaboration with the Category Lead /CBL/ RTAL
Support with revenue adjustments, as needed with Category Lead, CBL and Category Lead)
Develop promotional meeting materials to support the strategic build up in collaboration with the Category Lead
Plan and execute brand plan strategies and tactics across different markets with BU / Sales leads
Validate brand-specific messages, design training with medical and regulatory teams and ensure implementation of tailored materials in line with hospital therapy requirements
Develop awareness campaigns, congress content with KOLs in partnership with the Medical
Monitor our omnichannel implementation, develop content for the whole Oncology portfolio.
Project management of cross portfolio initiatives
Analytics and reporting of key Marketing KPIs
Quality Assurance in Marketing engagements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required/Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
5-10 years of commercial experience in Pharma Industry
1 to 2 years marketing experience required
Project Management experience is required and PMP certification is an added advantage.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
Oncology experience is a plus.
